Change can be challenging, especially when it involves a place that feels like home. For me, Studio B, formerly known as Jen Murphy Fitness, is exactly that kind of place. I have been part of this community for over 9 years as an instructor, and even longer as a participant. Watching it evolve into Studio B, with a fresh name and a new slogan, “Built for Every Body,” fills me with excitement and gratitude. This post shares my journey, the studio’s transformation, and what this means for all of us moving forward.

A Personal Journey with Jen Murphy Fitness

Before Studio B existed, Jen Murphy Fitness was my second home. I started attending classes years ago, drawn by the welcoming atmosphere and the expert guidance. Over time, I became an instructor, eager to share the same passion and support I received. The studio was more than a workout space; it was a community where people of all fitness levels came together to improve their health and well-being.

The heart of Jen Murphy Fitness was always inclusivity. Whether you were just starting out or an experienced athlete, the classes were designed to meet you where you were. This approach made it easy to stay motivated and feel part of something bigger than just exercise.

Why the Change to Studio B?

Change is necessary for growth. The transition from Jen Murphy Fitness to Studio B reflects our commitment to evolving with our members’ needs. Our new slogan, “Built for Every Body,” captures this perfectly. It’s a promise that no matter your fitness level, body type, or experience, you belong here.

The evolution also helps us expand our offerings and create an even more inclusive environment. We want everyone to feel comfortable, supported, and challenged in a way that suits them. This means more class options, flexible schedules, and a welcoming space that encourages movement and progress.

What “Built for Every Body” Means in Practice

At Studio B, inclusivity is more than a slogan. It guides everything we do. Here are some ways we live this value:

  • Classes for all levels: From gentle yoga and beginner strength training to high-intensity interval workouts, there is something for everyone.

  • Adaptive modifications: Instructors provide options to adjust exercises based on individual needs and abilities.

  • Community support: We foster a culture where members encourage each other, celebrate progress, and share their fitness journeys.

  • Accessible facilities: The studio layout and equipment choices ensure everyone can participate comfortably.

This approach helps remove barriers to fitness and makes it easier to stay consistent. When you feel accepted and supported, it’s easier to keep moving forward.

Continuing the Legacy with Heart

Even though the name has changed, the spirit of Jen Murphy Fitness remains at the core of Studio B. I am proud to continue teaching here, bringing the same passion and care I always have. Our instructors are dedicated to helping you reach your goals while honoring your unique body and story.

The studio’s evolution is a reminder that fitness is a lifelong journey. We grow, adapt, and learn along the way. Studio B is here to support you through every step, with the same heart and dedication that made Jen Murphy Fitness special.

Thank You for Being Part of This Journey

To everyone who has supported me and the studio over the years, thank you. Your commitment and energy make this community thrive. Whether you’ve been with us since the beginning or just joined, you are part of something meaningful.

I invite you to embrace this new chapter with us. Come try a class, meet the team, and experience how Studio B is truly built for every body. Together, we will keep moving forward, stronger and more connected than ever.
